Microsoft has announced the free games coming with Xbox live in January 2018

Every month Xbox Live members get a few Xbox One and Xbox 360 games for free and thanks to backward compatibility Xbox One gamers can play the Xbox 360 games. January 2018 is no different than all the other months. Microsoft has announced that Xbox Live owners are going to be able to play 2 Xbox One games and 2 Xbox 360 games (playable on the Xbox One) for free in the first month of 2018. 2018’s starting lineup are popular games and many gamers are excited for them.

The free Xbox Live games for the Xbox One are horror survival Zombi and the hack and slash Van Helsing III. Gamers will save $19.99 on Zombi and $14.99 on Van Helsing III. Overall gamers will save $34.98 on Xbox One games with Xbox Live. Van Helsing III is going to be available from Jan 1 until Jan 31 and Zombi is going to be available from Jan 16 until Feb 15.The backward compatible (Xbox 360/Xbox One) games are Tomb Raider Underworld and Army of Two. Tomb Raider Underworld costs $19.99 and Army of Two costs $14.99. Tomb Raider Underworld will be available from Jan 1 until Jan 15 and Army of Two from Jan 16 until Jan 31. Overall you are getting $69+ worth of games for free from Xbox Live. If you are reading this before Jan 2018 you are in luck because you can still download the free December games with Gold. You can get Warhammer: End Times Vermintide until December 31st for free, Back to the Future 30th anniversary until November 15th, Marlow Briggs until December 31.
