Just recently the Benchmarks for AMD’s upcoming Raven Ridge APUs featuring the Zen CPU & Vega GPU microarchitectures have been release or some may say leaked. They are expected to be released before holidays 2017 somewhere around Dec 2017.

This is the first representation of Ryzen family in mobile platforms and with what we know about Ryzen in gaming world, its expected to bring high performance gaming in lower cost in mobile platforms. Vega graphics architecture is also being released along the ryzen for the first time in an APU Platform. Vega was announced last month and its new.Vega and ryzen are both in 14 NM platform. 14 NM delivers significant performance and power efficiency improvements over the older platform 28nm planar.

AMD Ryzen Mobile APUs Deliver 100% more than the Performance Of Old AMD’s CPUs

AMD has managed to increas its performance in desktop by making a smarter CPU rather than just making it stronger. This is also going to play well in mobile platforms. Smarter CPUs work by learning behaviors and making efficient use out of the most used data processing and files and apps. So in a way they are very individualized in terms of what sort of use the user have. The Ryzen 5 2500U  scored 9723 points in the multi-core part of the Geekbench4 test and 3625 points as single core. In comparison, AMD’s fastest mobile Bristol Ridge A12 9800B part scores nearly half the points in the multi-core test and more than 1200 points less in the single core test. Doubling the performance in a big deal in today processing technology that it seems that the tech giants are stock in increasing the processing speed and power. the first solution was using more CPUs so multi core cpus came to life, but now the next step seems to be processing efficiently.

Intel, on the other hand, has been dominating notebook CPU space with the 8th generation Kaby Lake-R chips by releasing the  Core i5-8250U. The “U” means an ultra-low power CPU for Intel and a standard mobile CPU for AMD. Geekbench scores seem to be in favor of Intel and not AMD. High end laptops like Asus ROG Strix GL702ZC already sport AMD Ryzen CPUs. AMD seems to be aiming at mainstream gaming market, Ryzen APU laptops are expected to become mainstream before the end of 2017. Lets wait and see what AMD has to offer in 2017.

HTC Stand alone VR headset coming

HTC is making a VR headset that doesn’t use a phone or a PC

virtual reality video games

The new VR headset will be called HTC Vive Focus. HTC Vive focus will have a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 to power the experience. The VR headset will be robust compared to smartphones. The strongest phone that uses the Snapdragon 835 is the Note 8, so the headset will be pretty powerful compared to other smartphones.

Thanks to LetsGoDigital we have learned the name of the headset. It will be called HTC Vive Focus.

HTC has registered the headset for the US and EU, and it will probably be announced soon. The headset uses “WorldSense” to make sure you don’t hit something while playing it. The headset tracks motion too. WorldSense is a cool technology, and a lot of gamers will want to try it out.

Note that the headset will not compete with the HTC Vive and it will not be able to play coll VR games on Steam, Google Play will power the headset. The headset will deliver a better experience than the Google cardboard, but it will not be the same as HTC Vive or PS VR. It is the first VR headset that doesn’t require anything.

AMD Ryzen, Intel’s prime competitor in gaming market

New benchmarks show how competitive AMD has become by the new releases of CPU line “The Ryzen”

AMD and the new Ryzen

AMD is trying to enter the whole market with its new platform “The Ryzen”.  AMD is releasing Ryzen CPUs both in entry level market by 4 cores CPUs like AMD RYZEN 5 and high-end market like Threadripper series that goes up to 16 cores.  It is hard to believe that AMD is becoming competitive in high end market because in the past inlet has been the dominating one without a real rival in that market. Now AMD is coming back strong.

ryzen vs intl 2

AMD’s 16 core, 32 thread Ryzen Threadripper 1950X is finally here to seize the throne for high end desktop processors. & Intel’s core i9-7900X, from the Skylake-X series, is Intel’s latest 10-core, 20-thread flagship processor. It’s the first to bear the i9 moniker and utilize the new X299 (Basin Falls) chipset/motherboard.

AMD has also shown some strength in mid-range market with Ryzen 7 1800X challenging the popular CPUs from intel Core i7-7700K & Intel Core i7-6900K. One of the Specs AMD has always been working on to beat Intel in processing is increasing the multicore power by increasing the number of CPU cores. It usually works in desktop applications while working on different apps but not that effective in gaming performance. Amd is still doing that but One more thing AMD has accomplished in the new Ryzen platform is efficiency of information latency. AMD has made CPUs that get smart while working with you. They tend to keep in mind what you do to avoid reloading and reprocessing data. AMD has claimed that It has improved the AMD CPU speed by about 40%.

ryzen vs intel

The Core i7-7700K is Intel’s flagship Kaby Lake based CPU & The  is AMD’s flagship Ryzen CPU.

The Ryzen Platform

Well for the people familiar with how a whole platform works its clear that AMD has been planning this for years. This is not a 6 month project and a one night announcement to show off. Ryzen is a big deal and now after about 6 month that it has been released its getting more serious. AMD’s high-performance x86 Core “Zen” architecture Is the basis of the whole Ryzen Platform. As Amd claimed it delivers >52% improvement in instructions-per-clock cycle over the previous generation AMD core, without increasing power. It started with introducing one mother board cheap and 3 CPUs  and now AMD has just released AMD Ryzen 5 for high performance gaming and also released the Ryzen Threadripper series witch is the higher and advanced level of the Ryzen platform. Threadripper Goes From 8 to 16 cores, Up to 32 processing threads From 20MB to 40MB  of cache and AMD says you can afford it. All this shows that AMD is ALL-In by Ryzen.

AMD RYZEN VS INTEL CPUS IN GAMING

New released Benchmarks of AMD Ryzen 5 Desktop Processors

New released Benchmarks of AMD Ryzen 5 Desktop Processors Credit by cpubenchmarks

Eight cores and 16 threads for under $500 means that they’re Very strong across a wide range of workloads and very cheap for what they stand for. Finally, an architecture that can compete But not in gaming. AMD promised a substantial improvement in instructions per cycle (IPC), and the expectation was that Ryzen would be within striking distance of Intel’s Broadwell core. Now Broadwell is old and came in September 2014. Intel’s high-core-count processors, both the High End Desktop parts, with six, eight, or 10 cores, and the various Xeon processors for multisocket servers, are all still using Broadwell cores. Nobody should have expected Ryzen to be a dangerous rival in gaming. Now Intel’s Skylake and Kaby Lake parts both beat Broadwell in a wide range of games.

Do not misinterpret this, Ryzen is a very strong CPU series for gaming. But at the same time it is interesting that Skylake and Kaby Lake are both limited to four cores and eight threads but for many or most games, high IPC and high clock speeds are the key to top performance, and that’s precisely what Kaby Lake delivers. While AMD is as always delivering tremendous multi-core experience specially with the 16 cores Threadripper, but still lacking the clock speed in single CPU performance to become number one in gaming.

Reggie doesn’t want you to overpay for the SNES classic edition

SNES Mini Box preorder

The SNES classic edition costs $79.99, but because of shortage issues, it costs a lot more on sites like eBay. Reggie doesn’t want you to pay $199 for a SNES classic edition pre-order.

In an interview with Financial Times Reggie said, “I would strongly urge you not to overbid on an SNES Classic on any of the auction sites, You shouldn’t [have to] pay more than $79.99.” The Snes classic edition preorders sold out in minutes all around the world and if you want to pre-order it now you will have to pay $199.99 on eBay.

Most people couldn’t get the NES classic because it wasn’t available anywhere and Nintendo discontinued it very early. Nintendo did say that they will increase the SNES classic production rate and shortage will not be such a big problem. The SNES classic will come out on September 29.

The SNES classic will include 2 wired controllers and 21 games. Some of those games are Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, The Legend Of Zelda a Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Donkey Kong Country, Star Fox 2. Don’t remember Star Fox 2? That is because Star Fox 2 was never released.

Galaxy S9 could be coming soon, after Samsung Galaxy Note 8

It is possible to launch Galaxy S9 in January 2018, according to reports from South Korea.

Now that SAMSUNG is releasing Galaxy Note 8 on Sep 12/15 2017 January 2018 is the most possible date for S9.

Galaxy S9 could be coming soon, after Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Samsung Galaxy S9 Release news

The reports from South Korea were revealed by Android Authority, and is based on production line murmurs. Samsung will allegedly launch the Galaxy S9 in January, before a release date for the upcoming Android phone in February. It’s rumoured that Samsung Display will start shipping OLED panels for the Galaxy S9 in November. This is usually two to three months before assembly of the device is expected to begin.

Galaxy S9 could be coming soon, after Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Galaxy S9 & Galaxy note 8 Specs

Mainly The news came after an alleged spec sheet for the Samsung Galaxy S9 was surfaced. According to the reports, the phone will sport a Snapdragon 845 processor by Qualcomm, in addition to 4GB of RAM as standard and run Android Oreo. The 4 gb ram is predictable now that note for its pen functionalities has got 6 gb, 4 gb seems to be the new satisfying minimum for high end phones now. It’s also possible the Galaxy S9 could come with a 6GB RAM variant and follow in the Note 8’s footsteps to have a dual camera setup. S9 also wil have the AR capabilities and will probably work well with the new gear VR Samsung is planing to release in sep 2017 to work with Galaxy note 8. In terms of size it seems that galaxy s8 was a good set of devices for none note galaxy phones and Samsung may continue doing that. There has been no leaks yet on benchmarks for galaxy s9. While some of these these reports are just rumours and estimations and some leaks, an earlier release date for the Galaxy S9 could benefit Samsung in some aspects. A number of flagship smartphones are typically announced by major electronics firms at MWC in Barcelona. This usually takes place in February or March.

Switch getting VR support ??

Switch might be getting VR support

We have seen a lot of rumors about Nintendo Switch VR. In my opinion, this rumor is the strongest one yet.

Cody Brocious‏  found VR references while looking at Switch’s code. We see two line of code: IsVrmode Enabled[] – bool; and the other line is SetVrModeEnabled [bool];.

He also confirmed that this is Nintendos code not code from Nvidia. Nintendo did say that they are looking into VR for the Switch. This code could be leftover from when Nintendo was developing the Switch. Nintendo could make a head set that connects to the Switch via USB. I think Nintendo should do that because people will be able to connect the headset while the Switch is docked. VR could be why there is a USB port right next to the HDMI port in the dock.

Dev says Xbox One X cant run games at 4k

Dave Elder Killing floor 2’s Graphics Programmer said Xbox One X can’t handle true 4k !!

When the Xbox One X was announced, Microsoft said it is going to play every game at actual 4k, but it seems like that was a lie. According to the benchmarks, we saw Xbox One X isn’t going to play every game at real 4k and killing Floor 2 is going to be another none 4K game on the Xbox One X.

Dave Elder [Senior Graphics Programmer on Killing Floor 2] said, “Killing Floor 2 runs at native 1800p, fixed resolution (no checkerboarding) on Xbox One X. We did experiment with true 4k rendering, but the frame rate drop was a bit too significant. 1800p provides the optimal balance between visual quality and performance in Killing Floor 2.” He also said, “We will be using Ultra textures on Xbox One X. We are also increasing the resolution of our shadow maps and shadow draw distance.” I am disappointed with the results considering that the PS 4 Pro runs it at ultra setting 1800p [not native] and a Gtx 1070 runs it at 4k Ultra settings 30+ fps. At 1440p Ultra settings, a GTx 1070 gets 60 fps for almost the whole time, and it never dips below 55 FPS.

NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW and the new Strategy in gaming platforms

NVIDIA’s GeForce cloud and the new Strategy in gaming market

An innovative new service to expand the PC gaming market by Nvidia with high-performance PC in the cloud

gforce now

credit : nvidia

In June, NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) launched its new GeForce NOW service in beta to Mac users (available to PC users at a later time). For those who do not know about this, GeForce NOW allows gamers to play select games streamed from a virtual, high-performance PC in the cloud only by streaming. This innovative idea can help gamers with outdated hardware enjoy the wonders of PC gaming. Basically let gamers enjoy gaming in low end PCs or even tablets and phones in near future and in horizons of the project.  NVIDIA’S GEFORCE NOW  is very simple to setup and start gaming right away, basically is just internet. Users download the client app from NVIDIA, and they can immediately download purchased games from digital stores, including Steam, Battle.net, Origin, Uplay, or GOG.

The other aspect of this is that! The real strategy behind GeForce NOW maybe!!! NVIDIA estimates there are more than 200 million GeForce users around the world, and its average selling price for its graphics cards is $180 per unit. That works out to over $30 billion worth of revenue. Of course, NVIDIA isn’t going to suddenly generate that much revenue in one year from its gaming segment. But have in mind that it is the potential market and many of these people do not ever buy new products until the one in use breaks. So a portion of the market is inactive and this maybe a solution to make them join the NOW by much lower cost for gaming.

For NVIDIA to generate significant revenue from GeForce NOW, it would need tens of millions of users to sign up at least, which is far from certain right now.  But in the long term, the most beneficial outcome for NVIDIA may be to have customers buy actual GeForce graphics cards for their own PCs rather than rely on the revenue from customers who pay by the hour to use a cloud streaming service. It’s easy for gamers to simply stop paying the $25 for GeForce NOW access.

NVIDIA-GeForce-Now-

On the other hand, the software features and support tools NVIDIA makes available for customers who own a GeForce graphics card create a very sticky product for gamers. GeForce graphics cards can behave much like a video game console, encouraging players to pony up for regular generational upgrades. GeForce NOW is a great tool to introduce people to PC gaming and expand the market. But considering the cost and the problems with responsiveness in gameplay, users who really want to dig into PC gaming may be better off investing in the actual hardware. NVIDIA will forge stronger relationships with gamers who go this route, creating loyal customers in the process.

N64 classic might be coming.

Nintendo was registering trademarks for all the company’s controllers. There were 4 controllers but the there was also an N64 controller.

Nintendo registered a SNES controller last year. So this image means that an N64 controller is coming but we don’t know if it is going to be for the Switch or an N64 classic edition.

The NES classic edition was a huge success for Nintendo, but most people couldn’t get one because of the shortages. The NES classic edition 2.7 mil and it would have sold a lot more in everyone could get one.

The Snes was a great console with tons of games, and it sold 49.1 mil. Some SNES games are Metroid, Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Mario Kart. A lot of great games were released on the SNES, and a lot of fans still want to play those games but they can’t because they can’t find a working SNES.

More Nintendo Switchs might be coming

It is very hard to get the Switch right now. They cost $400+ on Amazon. Nintendo Switch sales have gone 40% up in Japan because a lot more Nintendo Switchs went to Japan this month. and Nintendo did say that they want to make more Nintendo Switchs. So there might be more Nintendo Switchs available in the rest of the world.

Since the Switch’s launched, there was a Switch shortage and a lot of fans can’t get their hands on it. Every gamer wants Nintendo to fix the shortage. If Nintendo doesn’t fix it until Christmass they would lose a lot of sells. If you want to buy the Switch for Christmas you’d better start buying because the chances of finding a Switch in Christmas is very low.

Jez C a Microsoft leaker Tweeted the next Xbox is in development

Xbox One X hasn’t even hit shelves but Microsoft is already working on the next Xbox.

After that a Tweeter user asked, “You mean looked into? Like nothings for sure yet.” Jez C replied “No, it has a code name, too.” That means another Xbox is gonna come out in 2-3 years. This is sad news for Xbox owners if he is telling the truth. Microsoft has said that they think in the future there wouldn’t be new console generation and consoles would become like PCs. Remember that this might not be true but Jez C does have very good reputation. There has been rumors that Sony is gonna release the PS 5 at 2019 more on that here.

Splatoon 2 Switch resolution and graphics

Splatoon 2 Switch resolution and graphics

When the Switch was reviled the Splatton 2 demo ran at 720p like the Wii U. During Nintendo’s live stream one of the people there asked if the game runs at 1080p 60 fps and Splatoon 2’s producer answered yes the game runs at 60fps and at a max resolution of 1080p. Nintendo wanted Splatoon 2 to always be at the 60 fps target so in more demanding areas the game will drop down to lower resolutions like 1536*864 or in between resolution. In portable mode it is the same it will run at a max resolution of 720p and 1152*648. This is a big upgrade over the Wii U the Switch’s resolution will always be above Wii U’s 1280*720. The hub area will run at a native 1080p and good graphics but the hub will run at 30fps. There is no anti aliasing the gameplay though. Splatoon 2 looks a lot better [look at the image below]

In the image above look at the lighting, and shadows. The shadows in Splatoon 2 look a lot better and the lighting is amazing compared to Splatoon 1. Splatoon 1 fakes a lot of its shadows and the real time shadows look ugly but the real shadows in Splatoon 2 the shadows look a lot better.

In the image above the paint in Nintendo Switch looks shiny and the paint interaction with other colored paint looks like the paint is gooey and in my opinion it look cooler.

Nintendo Switch’s app gets a release date and more..

Every Switch owner is waiting for the Switch smartphone app to be released. It hasn’t been released yet but Nintendo has reviled the released date. Online is gonna be free until 2018 but a limited version of the app will be released along side Splatoon 2.

The app can link to compatibly games like Splatoon 2 [the only game that we know is gonna be compatible with the app right now.] . The app will give you access to  SplatNet 2, where you can see your online battle stats, your gear, and much more. Players can also invite other players in their Switch friend list via the app. When you get invited you’ll get notified right away through a notification from the app.

Nintendo Switch’s online service at 2018

In 2018 the online service will cost money but instead subscribers will get classic titles like Super Mario Bros. 3. The online service is gonna be a lot cheaper than Xbox Live or PS Plus. A 1 month membership would cost $3.99, a 3 month subscription will cost $7.99, and a 12 month membership will cost $19.99. In 2018 subscribers will also get Nintendo Eshop deals. So play online as much as you can while it is free.

Did the Xbox One X deliver on its promises ?

The Xbox One X didn’t really deliver on its promises. In E3 Assassin’s Creed Origins wasn’t running at native 4k and according to the benchmarks released by DigitalFoundry it can’t run triple a titles by 3rd party developers at 4k 30 fpsDigitalFoundry didn’t say what were the games that were benchmarked but we can guess. One of them seemed to be Assassin’s Creeds Origins and got an average of 24fps on the Xbox One X. the StarWars Battlefront  2 demo on the Xbox One X didn’t run at native 4k. I am not disappointed because I know it is impossible to run every game high graphics native 4k. I am guessing Xbox One X will run triple A games that aren’t exclusives at mid-high settings 4k [not native.]

Virtual reality Market in New Video Games and gamers world next after E3 2017

Virtual reality is flourishing in 2017. Worldwide revenue for the augmented-reality and virtual-reality market is projected to grow to more than $162 billion in 2020, from $5.2 billion in 2016, driven largely by gaming consoles and mobile virtual-reality headsets and experiences, according to IDC, a research firm.

virtual reality video games

But in the very first steps of development Virtual reality still faces hurdles in gaming. The industry is still working out how to deal with the nausea that some people feel after they put on an immersive virtual-reality headset, for example. “There are lots of fundamental issues V.R. hasn’t worked out, such as nausea or how our body actually moves and reacts,” said Mattie Brice, an associate director at IndieCade, an international festival highlighting the work of innovative independent game developers. “V.R. has to figure out what’s unique about it besides being immersive, a consumer product buzzword for every advancement since games went 3-D.”

virtual reality video games

New games and new devices are coming . The flood of new video games is an important marker for virtual reality. Even as the hype over the technology has outrun its actual adoption, the video gaming industry has continued to pour money and resources into embracing virtual reality, cementing its development and advancement — at least in the near term.

“The dream of virtual reality was born in our industry when we created the first virtual worlds,” said Michael D. Gallagher, president and chief executive of the Entertainment Software Association, a trade group for video game companies. “It’s only natural our industry’s passionate and creative innovators, who share that dream, would lead the way in the development of virtual reality.”

virtual reality video games

Virtual reality has to date disappointed in many areas. Sales of some of the most capable virtual-reality headsets, which put people into an immersive environment, have been somewhat sluggish. Various industries have dabbled with virtual reality — and are still only dabbling. Even Mark Zuckerberg, the chief executive of Facebook, who was a huge proponent of virtual reality and bought Oculus VR for more than $2 billion several years ago, admitted in January that turning the technology into a new computing platform was tougher than he had expected.

“These things end up being more complex than you think upfront,” Mr. Zuckerberg said at the time. “If anything, we may have to invest even more money to get to the goals we had than we had thought upfront.”

Xbox One X benchmarks revealed

DigitalFoundry visited 2 developers 1 in the US and 2 in the UK. There are 9 benchmarked games but the developers didn’t say the name of the games, we can still guess what some of them are though [the games in this list are from the Xbox One.]

There is only 1 Sport/Racing game that is still in development Forza Motor Sport 7. There is only 1 Linear Shooter that runs on the Unreal Engine on the Xbox One and that is Gears Of War 4. Title H is a FPS game that runs at 720p 60 fps and that FPS is Star Wars Battlefront 1. Xbox One ran Forza 7 and it got 1080p 77fps GPU at 77.8% load [capped at 60 FPS]. but Xbox One X got 4k 91 FPS GPU at 65.9% [capped at 60fps.] But the Xbox One X doesn’t do that well on other games. Xbox One X ran Gears Of War 4 at 4k 38fps and GPU load when caped on 30fps was %78.1. The Xbox One ran it at 1080p 35fps %84 load when caped at 30fps. Title A [probably Recore] got 43fps on 4k Xbox One X and the GPU load was 69% when caped at 30 fps. Xbox One at 1080p got 45,5fps and %66.1 gpu load when caped at 30fps. Title D [probably Assassin’s Creed Origins] ran poorly on the Xbox One X. It got 24fps at 4k on the Xbox One X and the Xbox One got 30 fps at 1080p. when caped at 30 fps Xbox One was at 100% and the Xbox One X was 24% over budget. Xbox One X got 38fps at 4k GPU load at 60fps 56% over budget and the Xbox One ran it at 1080p 60fps 100% load. These games are ports that didn’t get that much optimization. Microsoft told developers to expect a 4k resolution boost and high end PC settings. Xbox One X probally wouldn’t run AAA games like Assasin’s Creed Origins at native 4k it is gonna use things like upscaling and it is gonna play those games at 4k [not native] mid-high settings 30fps.

Discontinuation of the NES Classic edition

0
0

Nintendo announced that the NES classic edition will be discontinued .

A Nintendo representative said this to IGN,  “Throughout April, NOA territories will receive the last shipments of Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition systems for this year. We encourage anyone interested in obtaining this system to check with retail outlets regarding availability. We understand that it has been difficult for many consumers to find a system, and for that we apologize. We have paid close attention to consumer feedback, and we greatly appreciate the incredible level of consumer interest and support for this product.”

Another representative from Nintendo told IGN that, “NES Classic Edition wasn’t intended to be an ongoing, long-term product. However, due to high demand, we did add extra shipments to our original plans.” Nintendo doesn’t have any plans to start shipping the NES classic in North America again but they didn’t say anything about it being discontinued world wide. Nintendo said production of 3rd party accessories would we up to the company that makes it.

Do u think after the NES classic edition sold 1.5 million  at Nintendos 3rd quarter it was a bad idea for Nintendo to discontinue the NES classic edition ? Tell us on our Facebook page or on the comment section.

Gtx 1080 Ti is Coming!!

Nvidia announced the Gtx 1080 Ti!!!

Nvidia says that it is 35% faster than the Gtx 1080 but it is gonna costs $700!!!!

It has 3,584 CUDA Cores theIt is gonna have 11gb GDDR5X of vram GDDR5X vram is  even faster than the G5X vram in Gtx 1080 Nvidia says, “the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti’s blisteringly-fast G5X memory further increases memory bandwidth and takes performance to new heights.” on their website. Click here for Gtx 1080 Ti website

With the high speed like so closely to the Titan X the 1080 Ti is certainly not a cheap card, but at just $699 (£699). it’s much less expensive than what expected before. And with the slower Titan X still retailing on GeForce.com for $1,200.

On the specs, this is where it gets interesting and justifies that impressive pricing too. The GTX 1080 Ti is almost just a lower Titan X. It’s using the same GP102 GPU with barely anything missing and only has one less gigabyte of video memory. That you wont notice it until you are playing huge games.

Can Project Scorpio deliver on its promises ?

0
0

Can Project Scorpio do true 4k gaming.

Project Scorpio Will lunch at holiday 2017 according to Microsoft. Will it deliver true 4k gaming well Microsoft says it has 6 Teraflops of power and a 8 core Cpu. The Cpu is probably a Amd Ryzen 7 1700 Some people say it would cost $600 but I think it is gonna cost $400-$500. The closes Gpu to 6 Teraflops is a Gtx 1070 with 6.5 Teraflops.

Gtx 1070 4k benchmark with I7 6700k

As you know Amd Ryzen hasn’t been released yet so the benchmark uses an I7 6700k. When I get my new gaming Pc I am gonna release my own benchmarks at 4k I might buy a I7 7700k or a Ryzen 7 1700.

So can Project Scorpio handle 4k gaming ? Well I can’t answer right now because Project Scorpio will be released in holiday 2017 so like 2018. I don’t know if in 2018 the new games could be much more deamending  but what ever happens Don’t expect to play every game ultra 4k 60 fps . Expect to play games at 4k medium-high settings 30 fps.

Any motherboard with AM4 socket will work with Ryzen. You’ll want an X300 motherboard in a tiny mini-ITX machine, and an X370 in a full-size PC.

As you can see you can get the same performance as an high end $1000 Cpu with $500. I am defiantly gonna try to get the 1700 or 1700x.
