Should you buy a pre-built PC or build one your self?

Since Bitcoin blew up and a bunch of new cryptocurrencies came around and they blew up too a massive graphics cards shortage started. The graphics cards shortage was a very bad thing for PC gamers that wanted to buy themselves a brand new graphics card or a brand new gaming PC. Right now on Amazon if you want to buy a graphics card you will have to pay a few hundred Dollars more then the original price. If you don’t know the GPU shortage is happening because miners need to buy a lot more then 2 graphics cards for their mining rig becuase you will need around 4 graphics cards to make a good profit from crypto mining. When mining suddenly exploded miners just started buying many GPUs and AMD and Nvidia couldn’t keep up with all of the demand.

Right now if you want to buy a PC with an I7 7800k and a GTX 1070 you will need to spend at least $680 on Amazon for a GTx 1070 and the I7 7800k costs $370. For the motherboard we went with the MSI – Z370 GAMING PLUS ATX for $114.89, we choose two sticks of Crucial – Ballistix Sport LT 8GB RAM, Western Digital 1TB storage for $46.55, The SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition GTX 1070 TI for $899.99 from Outlet PC, for the CPU we went with the Intel – Core i7-8700 for $311.90 from Outlet PC, we went with the Deepcool TESSERACT SW case, and the Corsair CX750M 750W power suply for $79.99 from Amazon. For the operating system we went with the Windows 10 Home for $89.99 from OutletPC. The PC doesn’t need a cooler because the CPU comes with one. You can check out the whole list on Partpicker. Overall this PC will cost you $ $1758.88.

Right now on Amazon you can get a PC with much better specs for $1,679.99. This PC has an Intel i7-8700, 16GB RAM, 256GB NVMe SSD + 1TB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, 500W PSU, AC Wifi, and Windows 10. The GTX 1080 performs better then the GTX 1070 TI so this PC will be more powerful than the other PC. This PC’s biggest problem is the fact that you will need to buy a new powersuply if you want to upgrade to something like a GTX 1080 TI.
