AMD & NVIDIA, What Miners want from you?

The cryptocurrency mining has changed the GPU market for ever and catching up with the new demand could level up AMD and NVIDA in 2018

For 2018 it still remains the main question that how AMD and Nvidia are going to respond to the new type of demands by the GPU market? These new costumers dont care about the GPU brand or design, frame rate or 4k support, smooth gameplay or even a video output. The only thing they care about is more hash rates by lower power consumption.

The market is so hungry but AMD and Nvidia are so not prepared for this that even the 3 month intense GPU shortage has not made them to act on it and release anything new. AMD and Nvidia are both at the end of producing their current generation of their GPUs. AMD and Nvidia have not seen such a thing till 2017 and still after a year there have been no answer to the new needs of the mining GPU market. While analysts shows the popularity of mining drove sales of graphics chips from AMD and Nvidia +2.95% more than the companies were letting on in the fourth quarter.

Now as the cryptocurrency mining moves from hobbyist systems to enterprise-level mining systems, the future of graphics-chip demand changes while also the mining systems are moving toward a more software-based approach. There are many coins that GPUs are capable of mining and some like bitcoin and lite coin that need the ASIC systems for mining. And that is also a new market for AMD and Nvidia if they want to go and grasp on that. reports say Samsung has already started doing that by making ASIC for mining. many pc makers and case makers are trying to catch up and get the a good start on the mining market by producing new motherboards, powers and cases for mining.
