Monster Hunter World coming to the Nintendo Switch

Capcom is looking for a way to support the Nintendo Switch with their games

2017 was an incredible year for the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch sold very well and became very successful. The Wii and the Wii U didn’t have a good third-party support. Ubisoft and EA were the only companies that supported the Wii U but most of their games on the Wii U had some content missing that were available on the Xbox One and PS 4. Capcom has released many Monster Hunter World games on Nintendo consoles and seeing how many developers have released their games on the Nintendo Switch many thought that Capcom will release Monster Hunter World soon for the Nintendo Switch. Capcom did say that it will be difficult to bring Monster Hunter World to the Nintendo Switch but Capcom says they are looking for ways to support the Nintendo Switch with their games.

In a recent interview with Toyo Keizai Haruhiro Tsujimoto (Capcom president) said, “We’re aware of that request. However, taking into account various conditions, bringing Monster Hunter: World now for release is difficult. The reason is that the Switch has different functions from other stationary consoles as well as different players.” Monster Hunter: World was built from ground up for the Xbox One and PS 4 and those consoles have more graphical strength than the Nintendo Switch. He added, “From now on, we’re looking at how we can support the Switch with our games, and that also includes Monster Hunter.” It seems like Monster Hunter World and other Capcom titles are going to make their way to the Nintendo Switch.

Capcom is one of the companies that is supporting the Nintendo Switch. Capcom has already released Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers, Monster Hunter XX, and Mega Man 11, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection on the Nintendo Switch. Capcom has supported Nintendo in the past many times and it seems like they are going to continue supporting Nintendo for a while.
