All graphics cards are either out of stock or cost hundreds of Dollars more than the original price. The GPU shortage is happening because of crypto miners. Since crypto ming became popular a few months ago miners have been buying large numbers of GPUs and companies were not able to keep up with the demand. To make a profit from mining you will need more than 4 GPUS but gamers will need a maximum of two GPUs for gaming. Some graphics cards are very hard to find but if you know the right place to look and the right GPU to search for you will be able to find a graphics card at the original price.

If you are in desperate need of a GPU it would be a good idea to look for older graphics cards. On eBay you can find good deals on graphics cards such as the GTX 980. Right now on eBay you can get a pre-owned GTX 980 for $325. The GTX 980 performs similarly to the GTX 1070 but if you are looking for a used GTX 1070 on eBay you will have to pay a lot more then $325. If you want a cheaper GPU you should look for a GTX 1050. The GTX 1050 TI is hard to find. Any GPU around GTX 1050 level will be easy to find for a good price. Right now on Amazon you can get an ASUS Radeon 2 GB RX 550 for only $96.80.
