Former Capcom director of production: let us port Monster Hunter World to Switch

Monster Hunter World might finally get ported to the Nintendo Switch

Monster Hunter World was released a while back but when Capcom announced the game they didn’t announce it for the Nintendo Switch which made fans disappointed. After that fans requested for a Switch port of Monster Hunter World but Capcom said that it would be very hard to do it and they said that they know how much gamers want the game on the Nintendo Switch. Capcom also said, “From now on, we’re looking at how we can support the Switch with our games, and that also includes Monster Hunter.” A Former Capcom director of production and former Vice President of Publisher and Developer Relations at Sony Interactive Entertainment asked Capcom if his company can port the game to the Nintendo Switch.

Adam Boyes Tweeted, “Dear @monsterhunter team at Capcom – we understand that porting the game to Nintendo Switch is challenging (https://kotaku.com/bringing-monster-hunter-world-to-nintendo-switch-is-d-1822988009 …) but this is exactly what @IToTheG does. Give us a shot & we won’t let you down ;)” Many believe that it would be very hard to release Monster Hunter World for the Nintendo Switch considering that on the most powerful console the Xbox One X Monster Hunter World doesn’t run very well. Overall Monster Hunter World is a very demanding game but the Nintendo Switch doesn’t have a lot of power. On the Nintendo Switch DOOM a game that runs at good-looking settings 60 FPS on the PS 4 runs mostly at 600p 30 FPS on the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch version has much lower graphics than the PS 4 version, has lower resolution, and runs at up to 30 FPS. Sometimes DOOM on the Nintendo Switch falls well below 30 FPS.

Monster Hunter World was released on January 26, 2018 for the PS 4 and Xbox One but right now we don’t know the exact release date for the PC version. Capcom says that Monster Hunter World will be released sometime in autumn 2018 for the PC.
