Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Nintendo Switch 1.3.0 patch released
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has gotten a new patch that adds a new game mode and new difficulty
Nintendo has been patching Xenoblade Chronicles 2 since it launched and they have recently released a new patch for the game. Nintendo has released patch 1.3.0 for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and you can download the patch now. To update your game connect your Nintendo Switch to the internet and launch the game from your home screen. When you launch the game while connected to the internet the update will start downloading and install automatically.
In the new update, Nintendo fixed many issues and bugs and they added a new game mode. The new game mode is called Advanced New Game. Players that finished the main game will be able to choose Advanced New Game on their home screen. Your Driver levels, Awakened Blades, Driver and Blade equipment and growth, Acquired items and gold, Playtime, Town development status and Merc Group level, and Status of Events Theater and defeated unique monsters will be transferred over to Advanced New Game. New features added to Advanced New Game mode are Bonding/meeting in the wild with some blades from Torna will let them join your party, Every Blade can be sent on Merc Missions, inn levels can now be decreased “with a corresponding amount of bonus EXP being granted for the number of levels decreased”, some Blades have got level 4 specials, and more. Remember in Advanced New Game finished Merc missions will reset, if you save after starting an Advanced New Game the save will overwrite the save data that you finished the game in, and “Quests, Heart-to-Hearts, and Skip Travel points” will reset.
In patch 1.3.0 Easy difficulty has been added too. Now the default game difficulty is normal and you can change the game difficulty at any time in the options menu. Simple mode has been added too, in this mode players will be able to skip “the lottery animation” when bonding with Blades. You can read the full patch notes here.
