MovieStarPlanet is a virtual world for children where you can make movies, become famous, and create an avatar that looks like a Hollywood actor or actress. In this game, there are many rules and safety tips that you need to follow in order to be safe and have the most fun. Check out our tips and safety rules below!

1) Never Reveal Personal Information

If you want to be safe on MovieStarPlanet, you should never reveal personal information about yourself in the game. This goes for people you chat with online only or people you know in real life that you chat with in the game. Personal information you should not talk about includes your name, age, phone number, address, school name, parents name or email address. Never use this information in chats or in the forum, even if you think it is harmless to talk about. Even though MovieStarPlanet does everything possible to eliminate bad people from the chats and forum, this is just a safety precaution to ensure no one could use that information for nefarious activity.

2) Never Share Passwords

On MovieStarPlanet, you have to log in using a password. You should never give anyone your password, even if it is a best friend you know in real life. Your password is yours and you need to protect it at all times. You also should never ask anyone for their password either because it is just not a good question to ask due to the risk of a password being leaked. Make sure you don’t give your MSP app password away either as it’s the same!

3) Never Harass Others

If you become a bully or begin harassing other players in MovieStarPlanet, you could end up being suspended or banned for good. You do not want to offend other players or come off as if you are not taking the hint if someone tells you “no” on something. If someone does not want to be friends then do not bug them and just move on. If you notice someone harassing you in the game, report them immediately and block them and the same should happen if you harass someone else. This is a quick way to lose your free MSP VIP membership.

4) No Stealing or Trickery

If you are trading with another player in the game, do not try any trickery or try to steal an item from them. Trying to steal or trick another player is a bannable offense and it is highly frowned upon overall. If you want someone to treat you with respect in the game then you should also want to treat other people that way. Tricking players to give up items is just downright rude and it will be reported to the moderators if the player knows what is going on. Common sense should be used in terms of knowing what is good behavior and what is wrong, so just stay away from doing things that could be construed as wrong.
