Xbox System Update 1810 Brings Dolby Vision Video Streaming to the Xbox One and More

The Next Xbox One Update is Going to Bring Dolby Vision Video Streaming to the Xbox One and Xbox One X XBOX_ONE_ _Gamescom

2018 hasn’t been Xbox’s best year. Gamers have been buying PS 4s instead of Xbox Ones because the Xbox One doesn’t have as many popular exclusives then the PS 4. In 2017 the PS 4 got many amazing exclusive games. The Xbox One barely got any exclusives in 2017 and none of them are real exclusive since they were all released for the PC as well. Microsfot mostly worked on the hardware side of things with the Xbox One X. Even though the Xbox One X is indeed very powerful for a console it doesn’t have Dolby Vision Video as of right now but it is going to be added with Xbox One’s next software update. Dolby Vision Video Streaming is going to improve movie quality by a lot.

Microsfot wrote in their blog, “Xbox is committed to bringing rich entertainment options to our fans. Today we are excited to announce our latest entertainment option, Dolby Vision video streaming support across Xbox One S and Xbox One X! Dolby Vision enables select TVs to take HDR up a notch with scene-by-scene precision and accuracy versus standard HDR which uses one setting for the entire movie/show you are watching. If you have a TV that supports the latest version of Dolby Vision and a Premium Netflix subscription jump in and experience Dolby Vision for yourself in the coming weeks! ” Remember your TV needs to support Dolby Vision video so you can use this feature.

Microsoft is also adding five new languages to the narrator and an Australian version of English for Australians. With the new update, the Xbox narrator is going to support Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Swedish, and Dutch. If you didn’t know the narrator, narrates basically everything that you do on your Xbox One.
