Some users are reporting that the Nvidia 1060 and 1070 GPUs stopped working and GPUs were not found by some mining software and they had to install the older version to get their systems to work again. Version: 398.82 WHQL Release Date: 2018.8.1The reported users was using GTX 1060 and 1070 with Claimore miner in the latest versions. More mining software and hardware should be tested to confirm if there is a plan from nvidia to stop their GPUs from mining or its just a bug.

Nvidia has shown a not very friendly behavior toward miners. And if this is a move by nvidia to stop miners it actually goes well with the last statements by Nvidia, They banned retailers to sell GPU to miners in 2018.
