AMD Ryzen Matisse 3000 CPU Series Crushes Intel CPUs In Every Way (Ryzen 3000 Leaked Specs and Price)
Intel Has no Chance
For a while now, Intel has been controlling the gaming CPU market. Although AMD Ryzen is better for productivity, Intel CPUs are better than AMD Ryzen in gaming performance thanks to superior single-core performance. Intel does better then AMD in gaming benchmarks and most manufacturers use Intel hardware instead of AMD hardware. So, it’s easy to say that Intel controls most of the gaming market but, AMD’s next-gen CPUs are going to crush Intel.
AMD Ryzen 3000 Series Specs Leaked
AMD hasn’t been doing that well in terms of leaks. AMD Ryzen 3000 CPU specs and prices have been leaked out by many credible sources around the internet. As you can see in the chart below, AMD Ryzen 3000 series CPUs are going to start from $99 and they can go up to $500. For only $99, you can get a six core, 12 threads CPU with a boost clock of 4GHz.
Intel Has no Chance
As you can see in the image above, Intel can’t compete with AMD Ryzen 3000. Right now, for $500 you can get the Intel Core I9-9900k which features 8 Cores, 16 Threads, and a boost clock of 5GHz. For the same price, gamers can get the Ryzen 9 3850X which is rumored to feature 16 Cores, 32 Threads, and a boost clock of 5.1GHz. AMD is also going to crush Intel in the mid-end gaming market thanks to the Ryzen 7 3700X’s 12 cores, 24 threads, and 5GHz boost clock. The Ryzen 7 37000X is going to cost $330. An Intel CPU around the same price point, the Core i7-8700K features 6C/12T and it has a 4.7GHz turbo boost. This CPU costs $350 and it features fewer cores and a lower boost clock then the Ryzen 7 3700X.
Thanks to their high boost clock, the AMD Ryzen CPUs are going to feature better single-core performance then current-gen Ryzen CPUs. This means that they will be able to compete with, and easily surpass Intel CPUs in gaming and productivity. If Intel doesn’t release a new generation of CPUs, they wouldn’t be able to compete with AMD Zen 2.
