Borderlands 3 will Feature a Co-Op Mode

The Borderlands video game series is one of the most popular action role-playings games in the gaming market. The Borderlands series features an extremely unique graphic style and that combined with the game’s unique game-play and co-op couch play the game instantly became very successful and fans of the series have been waiting to get their hands on Borderlands 3 for a very long time. Since Multiplayer is one of the most important and popular features of the Borderlands series, we have decided to write an article rounding up everything we know about Borderland 3’s multiplayer mode. 

New Villains and Heroes

Borderlands 3 introduces new Vault hunters and Villains. Thanks to a new blog post, we have gotten our hands on a lot of information about co-op in Borderlands 3. The four new Vault Hunters added to the game are Moze who is a “nimble soldier who can digistruct and hop into her mech—Iron Bear—anytime she needs some additional firepower,” Amara who can use “Eternal Flames” to destroy enemies, Zane a Hitman who can cause a lot of damage thanks to his unique gadgets, and FL4K a Robot that’s always followed by one of their “loyal” pets.

Now, let’s talk about the Villains. The villains are the “Calypso Twins” who are attempting to unite the Bandit clans and attempting to get their hands on the most powerful weapon in the Galaxy which is cable of destroying the whole universe! Only you and your Vault Hunter have the power to stop the Twins using their unique abilities. 

New Co-Op Rules

Borderlands is going to feature online and couch co-op but, the co-op mode is going to feature new rules. Regardless of your level or progress into the game, you can play with your friends online and for the first time ever you’ll each own discrete loot stream. Of course, if you want you can choose to play with Borderlands 2 rules in the co-op mode to share your loot. 

New Gear and Planets

Borderlands 3 is going to feature loads of new gear that can make the game just a little crazy. Atlas now manufactures weapons that “fire tracker tags and Smart Bullets”, DAHL now feature alternate fire modes, and Maliwan range “now incorporates firearms that can toggle between two elements and deal guaranteed elemental damage.” Gamers will be able to defeat the Evil Twins with loads of new and crazy weapons and explore many different planets throughout the Borderlands!
