New AMD Radeon/Ryzen Roadmaps Revealed | Next-Gen 7nm AMD GPU and Next-Gen Ryzen CPUs Coming Really Soon!

We Have Gotten Our Hands on AMD’s roadmaps

AMD Navi

Before AMD released their second-generation Ryzen CPUs and AMD Navi they weren’t selling that well. Intel and NVIDIA both had monopolies over the GPU and CPU market as AMD’s hardware didn’t even compare with their competitor’s. Well, we have gotten our hands on AMD’s new roadmaps, and it seems like they’re going to blow away the competition, at least in the CPU market as Intel doesn’t even have a plan right now for the future of their company. Intel is now on the 14++ nm architecture, and it doesn’t seem like Intel is going to release a 7nm CPU anytime soon as they’re having a hard time with their 10nm CPUs.

As you can see in the AMD roadmap above, AMD has revealed their Ryzen roadmap until 2022. Right now Zen 2 is in the market, and it seems like AMD is looking to release two new CPU architectures between now and 2022. As Zen 2 has been on the market for a while now, we are probably going to see next-gen Ryzen CPUs or Zen 3 in the market soon. Of course, we would probably get some info about Zen 3 when it is close to release thanks to official information and leaks.

As you can see in the new roadmap above, AMD is going to release their next-gen 7nm+ GPUs released in 2021. Past rumors claimed that we are going to get our hands on the next-gen Radeon CPUs in late 2020 so, a 2021 release date is expected. NVIDIA is said to release their next-gen NVIDIA Ampere GPUs as well in 2020 or 2021 so we have to wait and see which company will be on top. It seems like Ray Tracing is catching on and with more and more games coming out with Ray Tracing, AMD’s next-gen Radeon CPUs are most likely going to feature Ray Tracing as well.
