AMD Going to Capture Low-End CPU Market With Next-Gen 7nm Ryzen 4000 CPUs | New Benchmark Leaks!
What is Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) Going to Do?

AMD has been doing really well in the CPU market lately and although they have been able to accomplish a lot throughout the market, they still have not been able to compete with Intel in the gaming market. Well, it seems like that’s going to change as AMD’s next-gen low-end Renoir CPU seems to deliver decent gaming performance for a very low price. The quad-core sub $200 Renoir CPU is going to be able to outperform competing CPUs for a lower price.
AMD Renoir Ryzen 4000 Benchmarks Leaked
AMD’s next-gen Ryzen 4000 CPUs are highly anticipated throughout the PC gaming market and we have gotten our hands on leaked benchmarks for the Renoir Ryzen CPU. on UserBenchmarks, we have gotten our hands on benchmarks of an AMD CPU with the code name “‘PD340SC5M4MFH_37/34_Y.” Dissecting the codename we see that it is indeed an AM4 CPU and it has a base clock of 3.4 GHz and a boost clock of 3.7 GHz. We can also see that the CPU is related to the 65W G-series lineup. The CPU features 4 Cores, 8 Threads, and 4 MB of L3 cache along with 2 MB of L2 cache.

Now, the CPU definitely doesn’t perform that well in the benchmarks but, we can see that this is one of the first tests of this CPU. The CPU doesn’t perform that well because it has a very low boost clock when compared to it’s competing CPUs and this is explained by the fact that it’s the first test. AMD is still in the process of development so, when the CPU is finally released we are going to get higher boost clocks most likely around 4.2 GHz.
AMD to Capture the Low-End Gaming Market
These CPUs are also going to feature improved vega graphics and this combined with the rumored sub $200 price point, AMD is not going to have much competition. Some rumors are even claiming that we are going to get our hands on 4 core and 8 thread AMD CPUs for around $150 or maybe even lower. If AMD does come out with a 4 core/8 threads CPU with high boost clocks for only $150, it can change the whole gaming market. For the low price of $150, users will be able to purchase a CPU that can run the latest triple-A games with a decent performance. It’s amazing to see how much CPUs have developed. A few years back for $150 you got a dual-core CPU that barely ran any games but now, you can get a quad-core CPU that can run games and even do some light streaming or editing.
