Switch gets its first video app in Japan

Nintendo has added the Japanese video sharing service Nikoniko to the Switch. This is good news for Switch users everywhere because this means that Nintendo is starting to add video sharing apps like YouTube and Netflix on the Switch. I think in 1-2 month we would see video sharing apps for the rest of the world.
A lot of Switch owners want apps like YouTube and Netflix to come to the Switch. Xbox One and PS 4 have video apps, but for an unknown reason, the Switch doesn’t have any video apps. The Switch is behind the competition from the app perspective, because all the other consoles have YouTube, Netflix, and Twitch. Players on the Xbox and PS 4 can stream on Twitch, but Switch owners need a capture device.
