PS Plus is gonna cost more in Europe and Australia

Sadly the PS Plus prices are gonna rise in Europe and Australia

Sony has announced that PS Plus prices are gonna rise in Europe and Australia. From August 31 PS Plus will cost £50 / €60 / AU $80. PS Plus is gonna cost £20 / €25 / AU $34 for 3 month. A 1 month membership will cost £7 / €8 / AU $11. If people buy or renew PS Plus after August 31 they will have to pay the new prices. Sony said “there is nothing to announce” when Gamespot asked if the prices are gonna rise in the USA.

The company emailed members in Europe notifying them of the upcoming increase earlier this morning. The new prices go in effect as of midnight BST on Thursday, August 31. Back in September, Sony increased the prices for PS Plus in the US and Canada. Many suspected Europe would follow shortly after, and it now seems the time has come. Sony gave no reason as to why the prices are increasing.
