France-based company Atari Is now Offering $100 off of the new ATARIBOX coming out in 2018. Atari has said that its latest gaming console Ataribox would feature AMD’s customized processor and Radeon Graphics. Atari CEO Fred Chesnais boldly announced, “We’re back in the hardware business”. And trying to fight for the game console market with the closest rival Nintendo to get a better result for 2018 Q1 market value. Atari also added: “our objective is to create something new, that stays true to our heritage while appealing to both old and new fans of Atari.” they also added: “If there’s a keyboard, a mouse, a controller, even an Xbox controller that you want to use, use it on Ataribox. We want to be as open on that strategy as we are on the gaming part. We’ll have a game store where we sell to you, but you’re not obligated to shop there.” 

Ataribox, The new Atari will be running on Linux and AMD, and it will cost about $300. “The Ataribox is coming! Featuring Radeon graphics, look out for the PC technology-based classic in spring 2018” AMD RX.  Atari’s “AMD technology-based” is The classic Atari and is due spring 2018. Amd RX tweeted and some other news reported that The new Atari that is the revive of the old classic version of Atari is going to be AMD based PC like and running on Linux. In one month after announcement Atari crowdfunded the project, and now we have some hard facts on cost too, and its $300.

Due to launch an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign “this fall” 2017, the Ataribox is expected in spring 2018. Atari has been one of the first Video game platforms ever and the come back in a totally new area and new technologies and gaming capabilities is going to be amazing.

Atari has released the intro video a while ago about a new piece of Atari hardware that supports a variety of games including “current content’. At E3 2017 Atari started showing its newest hardware. The new console, called the AtariBox was said to be similar to Nintendo’s NES Classic and their newly announced SNES classic and it is being developed by AMD and Linux. Atari has said that the new Atari Box will support current content alongside classic Atari games.
