Arms is definitely not the best Nintendo Switch game available, and it’s not the best selling either but many players bought it with their Switch. Fortunately, Arms doesn’t have a season pass or microtransactions, so Arms 4.0 update is free. The new update adds many new and good features to Arms.

The 4.0 update will add a new character, a “scenic” new map, and three new ARMS. The new character is called Misango. Misango is spiritual, and he loves his homeland and other Misangans. Gamers can find Misango in the Temple Grounds stage practicing. Misango is a unique fighter he can charge his unknown weapon. When Misango charges up his weapon thing, he gets special effects like higher speed and flinch protection. That’s going to be very useful because when fighters flinch, it makes it a lot harder to win. Many gamers were saying Misango is one of the coolest looking characters in Arms. When Arms came out, it didn’t have a lot of content, and many gamers said it’s not worth $59.99, but now it has a lot more content than day 1. The three new ARMS are Skully, Glusher, and Scorpio. Misango starts with these ARMS. Other characters can unlock the new ARMS from “Get ARMS mode.”

Arms were released on June 16 and on June 30 Nintendo announced Arms sold 1.18 million copies worldwide. As of October 30th, Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild sold 4.70 million units, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold 4.42 million units, Splatoon 2 sold  3.61 million units, 1-2 Switch sold 1.37 million units, and Arms sold 1.35 million units. As you can see Arms and 1-2 Switch were one of the least selling Nintendo Switch games made by Nintendo Arms got an 8/10 on IGN, 8/10 on Polygon, and 77% on Metacritic. Arms wasn’t as successful as Breath of the Wild or Mario Kart 8 deluxe.
