LG made a good product, sold a lot and now won an award. The LG B7 is a high-end 4k OLED smart TV with infinite contrast ratio and wide viewing angle. little motion blur, ability to reproduce a very wide gamut of colors and relatively high peak brightness. It isn’t quite as bright as some LCD TVs. It offers the same performance as the B7P. Anyway 2017 was a bumper year for 4K TVs, and picking a winner should have been hard for TR Awards. But LG’s new flagship OLED, the B7, won its rivals to the TV of the Year award with the quality of colours, unrivalled blacks, and affordable price as well. From a gaming view point, this is a gamer’s dream that comes true in 55-inch and 65-inch models, it also offers support for all four major HDR standards, including Dolby Vision, and features LG’s best-in-class Smart TV UI. It costs $1,596.99 now in Amazon but fairly a very good price for the features it delivers. All common resolutions are supported in B7: 4k @ 60 Hz @ 4:4:4 or 4:2:2 color is only supported when ‘HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color’ is enabled. 4:4:4 color is only shown properly when the input’s icon is set to ‘PC’ (aka PC mode).

1080p @ 120 Hz is an officially supported resolutions. and the down point are usually Static images that can get “stuck” temporarily, Screen brightness varies with content being displayed (ABL).
