Earlier this year we hard about an open world game getting developed by Playground Games the developer of Forza Horizon. At the time we didn’t know much about the new open world game until now. In an article, gamesindustry.biz shared more details on Playground Games new non racing open-world game. Metal Gear and GTA Developers are working on the new non racing open world game by Playground Games.

Accoring to gamesindustry.biz’s article, the new game is an open-world RPG game, and Playground Games has hired two new people to work on it. The newest member of the team is Sean Eyestone. Eyestone was Star Wars Battlefront 2’s senior producer and before that Eyestone worked on many different Metal Gear Solid games for ten years. One of the games he worked on was Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes. The other new member is Will Kennedy. Kennedy joined the team in July and before he joined he worked at Rockstar North (GTA’s developer) for eight years. Kennedy was GTA V’s level and game designer, so he probably worked on many of the GTA Online modes. When the news about a new non racing open world game by Playground Games was released Forza horizon fans were worried but after a statement from Ralph Fulton. Fulton said the team is still very passionate about Forza Horizon and they wouldn’t leave racing games because they are making an open-world game. Playground games has bought a 17,365 square feet office at St Albans House. 200+ new employees will work in the new office doubling  Playground Game’s staff to 400. in the new office, they will work on their new RPG open-world game. All of these announcements made many fans extremely excited about Playground’s new game. Unfortunately for PS 4 gamers, the new game will probably not come to the PS 4 because all games that Playground games made until now are available on the Xbox One and PC.
