Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds is one of the best selling games of 2017, and it might even become one of the best selling game ever. Even though it’s still in early access and only available on the PC is has sold 10 million+ copies and a few months ago it was announced that it’s going to be released on the Xbox One. That made many Xbox One gamers very excited, but Bluehole didn’t talk about the upgrades that PUBG will get on the Xbox One X. We didn’t know how PUBG will run on the Xbox One X until now. Brendon Greene himself also known as Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds himself has confirmed that PUBG will run at 60 FPS on the Xbox One X.

Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds himself appeared on the gamesTM issue 194, and he talked about the Xbox One version of Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds. PUBG himself said its great that PUBG is coming to the Xbox One. He says PUBG will sell a good amount of copies on consoles and he believes that their goal isn’t to have millions of people playing PUBG on the Xbox One they want to release a good game. He says PUBG will definitely run at 60 FPS on the Xbox One X, but they might have to limit the FPS to 30 on the Xbox One. He says last time he checked it ran at 30-40 FPS and they are continuing to improve it. He says that is the reason they are doing game preview. He says they might not reach the 60 FPS goal, but he believes FPS isn’t very important in PUBG because it’s not a fast-paced shooter. He says they haven’t made 4k textures yet, and it will take time for them to make 4k textures but it’s going to take them time. We do know that PUBG will support HDR on the Xbox One S/X.
