Recently Asus released the the 8 core laptop with its ROG+AMD deal and brought the most powerful ROG Strix GL702ZC laptop in terms of CPU multi core power and set the record in Notbookchek.net. New gaming laptops has been released in 2017 with almost the same power like ROG GX800, ROG Chimera, ROG Strix SCAR Edition, GT75VR, GT62VR, GE63VR, Omen 17, Predator 21 X, Predator Helios 300 from HP, ASUS, ACER & MSI. All have been released in the last 4 month months in 2017 and even more are going to be released in early 2018 with new chips and probably new 12nm and 7nm Technologies later in 2018. The price range for these High end gaming laptops are from $1200 to $11998. You can get about the same performance and hardware in PC for about 15% to 70% less as long as you want to stay in the High end gaming. Going for the high end hardware like I7 8700 and 1080 Ti is not going to be happening in such range of cost in PC. You have to go for about $2000+ to get a machine like that But again much cheaper from some high end gaming laptops. Among all these laptops the Chimara from Asus just got the CES 2018 award for the amazing design and performance in gaming category. Also the Gigabyte AORUS X9, The is equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 SLI and it the World’s Thinnest SLI ever. AORUS X9 also got awarded in CES 2018 awards gaming category. Now is the time that you can get PC performance even High end PC performance in Laptops. I f you remember it was not really possible in a few years ago. Now you can have laptops as strong as desktops. But it come in its price. From $750 to $3000+ all of the options you can image are covered you should only think of your need and budget.
- $750 – $1,000: You might see a few notebooks with Intel latest CPUs witch now it is I7 but mostly you find the mid range witch is I5 now. You can also expect to find at least 8GB of RAM. But do not wish for SSD, 12+ gb ram, High-end graphics or UHD/ 4K screens.
- $1,000 – $2,000: In this price range, there are still a fewMid range CPUs hanging around, but the most of the configurations are entry level hig-end CPUs. You can find 12+ to 16GB of RAM and a 1080p display. Some limited SSD options and if you are lucky you may find a 3d or 4K screen as well.
- $2,000 – $3,000: in this range you can actually find whatever you want in a reasonable price. High end CPU and 16gb + ram and ssd options are all onthe table. You just need to find the right one for you.
- $3,000 + : This is the Ultra Gamers – Ultra Pricey and things start to look a bit crazy. Price may go up to $12,000 and yuo could get 64 GB of ram. Things you don see in every laptop. You may call it fancy or luxuray or even insane but many gamers love to have one of these.
