In 2018 Smartphone Global Market Share it is predicted that Apple & Chinese Brands will win and increase their share while Samsung loses about 10% of its share. Apple is expected to see a rise in 2018 from 215.4 million shipments to 218.1 million. It is representing a growth that changes apple’s global market share go up from 14.0% to 14.3%. Other brands like Huawei, which is the third largest smartphone brand in the world, is predicted to to see a rise from 156 million shipments this year to 164.5 million in 2018, with a market share increase from 9.3% to 10%. 2017 Samsung is the biggest smartphone manufacturers in the world, for next year analytics predict the company’s dominance is set to see a 10% decline in market share. Samsung has 9.6% global market share advantage in 2017 over closest rivals Apple. According to the report, the company may see a decrease from its 319.8 million recorded shipments this year, to a projected 315.3 million total shipments in 2018. The reason is Apple and Chinese phones. In the premium segment of smartphones by Apple, and in the low-budget market by Chinese brands. The reason behind Samsung’s 2018 decline is from the company’s lack of success in the largest smartphone market China. Report are placing the Samsung’s Chinese market share at a pitiful 2.2%. Samsung has a grip of  course on India that is the second largest market in the world, but even that may be in danger soon.
