Alienware Area-51m scores 26,435 points in 3DMark
An Alienware Area-51m owner has managed to score a very respectable 26,435 points in 3DMark’s Fire Strike test (1.1). The laptop was fitted with an Intel Core i9-9900K CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 GPU. But it seems a couple of overclocking Clevo owners have proved their gaming pedigree by immediately outscoring the Dell laptop.
The first Clevo, operated by “Prema,” scored a total of 27,039 points in 3DMark 11 Fire Strike 1.1 and managed a Graphics Score of 31,271. The second Clevo, from user “johnksss,” lagged behind in the Graphics Score on 31,066 but achieved a final validated benchmark score of 27,066. So, there’s no doubting the Alienware Area-51m is a fast and powerful notebook – but it seems Clevo fans wanted to remind people that their gaming laptops can perform just as well, or in this case, even better. notbookcheck reports

Check out @iunlock42 latest accolade with the @Alienware Area-51m. He just hit that 31k graphics score on 3DMark Fire Strike. Which other gaming notebooks walk side by side with the Area-51m? None. https://t.co/ijBHmdToNS pic.twitter.com/dvCqiM9rnJ
