AMD and Qualcomm Working together on Ryzen Mobile Platforms
AMD is working with Qualcomm Snapdragon LTE Modem Solutions now to create Gigabit Class Connectivity for High-Performance Consumer and Enterprise Notebook Platforms. AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) just announced that AMD is working with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: QCOM) to make faster PC connectivity solutions to AMD’s Ryzen mobile processors. AMD and Qualcomm Technologies want to create Gigabit LTE speeds alongside the AMD Ryzen mobile processors, fluid graphics rendering, and optimal efficiency in future AMD Ryzen mobile systems. Amd just a month a go introduced the world’s fastest processor for ultrathin notebooks1, AMD Ryzen mobile processor performance now are up to 2.7X the CPU performance and up to 2.2X the GPU performance generationally. The AMD mobile solutions are made to bring the features thta are usually associated with high-end mobile PCs to the ultrathin series, like eSports titles or HDR, Radeon FreeSync 2, and 4K monitors technologies. Amd has also been focused on amazing battery life: Targeting up to a 2X battery life improvement generationally. Qualcomm Snapdragon LTE Modem Solutions Engineered to Offer AMD systems: Support of the latest wireless network technologies, fast LTE download speeds, high speeds in weak signal conditions and Long battery life.
