AMD JUst announced a video comparing the intel popular and powerful CPU with its Ryzen pro series CPU the Ryzen 7 po 1700x. The AMD Ryzen PRO CPU series are made for reliability and stability in commercial-grade PCs with multitasking capabilities, machine intelligence, and processor-level security. In the video AMD is trying to show the actual practical usage of CPU in high-end Video editing and bench marking apps. The AMD Ryzen PRO has up to 8 cores and 16 threads delivers to 62% more multi-threaded performance on the Ryzen 7 PRO 1700 comparing to some competitors. It is basically packed with some importance security based techs on CPU Level like AMD GuardMI Technology, Built-in AES 128-bit Encryption engine, Windows 10 Enterprise Security Support, Supports fTPM/TPM 2.0 Features. AMD pro is a compelete seperate CPU series from the consumer level of ryzen or Ryzen threadripper. It does not go far to the Epyc CPUs which are competing Intel XION in datacenters and servers. But it has some security and stability aspects of the EPYC.

The AMD Ryzen PRO lineup of processors consists of six CPUs from Ryzen 7, Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 3 families targeting different markets. The Ryzen 7 PRO models are aimed at workstation applications and thus have all eight cores with simultaneous multi-threading enabled, the Ryzen 5 PRO models are designed for advanced mainstream desktops and therefore have four or six cores with SMT, whereas the Ryzen 3 PRO models are aimed at office workloads that work well on quad-core CPUs without SMT. When it comes to Ryzen pro everything is about stability and better quality and the it may be a little out of the value chart but its basically how it works in commercial markets. In gaming and consumer CPUs the most important thing is to get the premium speed by lowest price. It does matter in Commercial as well but not with the cost of quality.
