Ark Survival Evolved is very laggy

Ark is still extremely laggy

Ark Survival Evolved has been released, so it costs $59.99. The problem is the game isn’t finished yet. Many fans including us at UltraGamrZ have noticed the game is very laggy and almost unplayable. Optimization is poor, I played it with a GTX 1070, I7 7700k, 16GB of ram but I couldn’t handle the game at epic settings, so I turned it down to high. At high settings, I get frequent FPS drops especially when I’m fighting another person.

The lag isn’t because of the internet. It’s because of the game’s servers. Our wifi’s ping is 29, and when I play other games such as Grand Theft Auto V, I don’t notice any lag. In ARK one of the best servers has 140+ ping. The server is an official server. The game would’ve been fun if it wasn’t extremely laggy and almost unplayable. Instead of trying to fix the lag they are making DLC for the game. The season pass costs $44.99, and the main game costs $59.99. With $59.99 players will be able to buy other games such as Assassin’s Creed Origins, Call of Duty WW2, and more.

Ark Survival Evolved is available on the PS 4, Xbox One, and PC. In the Xbox One X, players will have two graphics settings. The first options will be running at 1440p, high-quality PC settings, and 30 fps. The second option will run at 1080p, current Xbox One graphics, and 60 fps. Other games that look better then Ark run at 4k, high-ultra, 30fps. Assasin’s Creed Origins will run at 4k, and it will use HDR.
