Assassin’s Creed Origins is selling much more than Syndicate | Ubisoft Financials
Assassin’s Creed Origins is Released and is currently available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
Wccftech reporting that Ubisoft released its earnings report for the first half of its 2018 fiscal year (which ends March 31, 2018) and the numbers are looking good. They also mentioned that Assassin’s Creed Origins is already a big success. Ubisoft generated €466.2 million (around $540 million) in sales, which is way up from the €281.2 million they made in the first half of last year. This great results are driven by successful sales of Ghost Recon Wildlands that released early 2017 and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and continued support for Rainbow Six Siege. Ubisoft’s numbers only cover up to end of September 2017, but they also announced Assassin’s Creed Origins sold 100 % more copies in its first 10 days than its predecessor Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. According to Ubisoft, 35 percent of Origins sales were digital.
Syndicate, was released in 2015, sold around 5.5 million copies. The best-selling game in the series is Assassin’s Creed III, which sold 13 million copies. Next big hits of ubisoft in 2018 are the Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2, Ubisoft has predicted €1.7 billion sales (around $1.96 billion) and a profit of €270 million ($313 million) for the full 2018 fiscal year. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot sees a bright future ahead:
