Battlefield V’s 64 Player Grand Operations Mode to be Available at Launch

The Grand Operations Mode is Going to be Available at Battlefield V’s Launch

The Battlefield series is one of the most popular FPS series of all time. One of Battlefield 1’s most popular game modes was the Operations game mode. In which players teamed up in two teams and played multiple different matches. One side was supposed to defend various checkpoints while the other was supposed to capture all of them in a certain amount of time. The attacking team had a certain amount of soldiers so if more then 200 players died in the attacking team they would lose. Battlefield V is going to feature an updated version of the Operations mode in Battlefield 1, and after a lot of speculation, EA revealed that it would come out with the game.

In the Battlefield blog, EA wrote, “Grand Operations is the ultimate multiplayer experience, designed to seamlessly showcase the maps and modes of Battlefield™ V. Each Grand Operation presents a powerful narrative experience inspired by historical events. You can deploy in Grand Operations at launch, and as part of Tides of War, the Battlefield V live service where you’ll fight across other unseen and unplayed battlefields of World War 2.”

In this mode, players play multiple matches. The Grand Operations mode is like a real operation in a real WWII battle. Each day in the operations is represented by a round. During the rounds, players play a combination of maps. Your team’s actions in the first “day” of the operations, impact the second and so on. Your actions will have a direct impact on the narrative of the game. If you play well on the first day of the Operations, you will be deployed with extra ammo and vehicles on the other days. If you do poorly, you will start the next day fewer respawns, vehicles, and resources. The good news is that up to 64 players can participate in the grand operations mode. With 64 players, the Grand Operations mode will be a lot more realistic than Battlefield 1’s Operations.
