Call of Duty Black Ops IIII developer says Black Ops IIII battle royal will top Fortnite and PUBG
Black Ops IIII’s developers believe their battle royal mode will top Fortnite and PUBG
Activision announced Call of Duty Black Ops IIII a few days ago. We also figured out that Black Ops IIII is going to ditch single-player for a battle royal mode and that made many players happy as many buy Black Ops games for the single-player. Unless you have been living under a rock you probably know about a genre called battle royal. First PUBG popped up and then Fortnite got a battle royal mode which made it one of the most popular games on the planet. We haven’t seen big companies making battle royal games until now. Black Ops III’s developer is confident that Black Ops IIII is going to top both Fortnite and PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds.
In an interview, Treyarch told the Finder, “Oh, that’s how we like it. We wouldn’t do this if we didn’t think we could do it best and better than everybody else. We’ve got a huge library of content, ten years of history, we’ve got the best gunplay out there, we’ve got the best movement, so we’re not too worried about it. Honestly, we’re just worried about making this damn thing as fun as possible.”
Treyarch has a lot more experience then Epic Games and Bluehole also many gamers like Call of Duty’s game-play more then Fortnite’s and PUBG’s. Black Ops IIII might steal PUBG’s players as PUBG is somewhat similair to a Call of Duty game but Fortnite is pretty different from a Call of Duty game. Fortnite has a building mechanic. Black Ops IIII is probably not going to have a building mechanic. Since PUBG and Black Ops games are realistic compared to Fortnite PUBG is most likely going to be the battle royal game that is most affected by Black Ops IIII battle royal.
