Call of Duty WW2 sold 5x more than Star Wars Battlefront 2

COD WW2 has been doing very well

Star Wars Battlefront 2’s launch was extremely controversial and EA’s attempt to earn extra money by placing microtransactions in the game and making it a pay to win drove away a lot of costumers. In the other hand Call of Duty: WWII has been doing very well in fact it has been doing five times better than Star Wars Battlefront 2. Star Wars Battlefront 2 isn’t even close to selling 1 million copies yet but Call of Duty WW2 has already sold 4 million copies. EA did remove the microtransactions from Battlefront 2 but they say that it’s going to return in the future, so that didn’t help at all and EA might not even return microtransactions. If EA says microtransactions aren’t coming back to Battlefront 2 sell numbers will probably go up after the Holiday season.

Sarah E. Needleman‏ has revealed NDP sales for Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Call of Duty WW2. Apparently, US video game sales increased by 9% in November 2017 from November 2017 and Call of Duty WW2 is leading the video game sells. Call of Duty WW2 has sold 4.4 million copies, but Battlefront 2 sold very poorly Battlefront 2 only sold 882,000 copies. Remember these sales only show US physical sales of these games. The Battlefront 2 sales are very disappointing for EA since Battlefront 2’s launch EA’s stock prices went down a lot but that have started to come up again. Analysts at  Wedbush Securities believe that Battlefront 2’s sales will go up on December 15th because of Star Wars the last Jedi DLC pack. Remember all Battlefront 2 DLC packs are free for every gamer that owns Battlefront 2. If EA doesn’t fix Battlefront 2 by the Holiday season, they will lose a lot of customers. You can purchase Battlefront 2 standard for $59.99 on the PS 4, Xbox One, and PC or you can purchase the deluxe version for $79.99.
