EA is one of the biggest publishers of Sports games in the world thanks to FIFA and Madden. In the United States, Madden has millions of fans who love the game and buy every single version. Just like how FIFA always gets into the top 10 selling games in the UK, Madden does the same in the US. EA has recently rolled out a very big update for the game. The patch updates the Gameplay elements of the game, Changes to Franchise mode, general stability improvements, Updates to Franchises, and much more.

The Key highlights that the new patch brings is:

  • Gameplay:

  • Added Signature Celebration by Douglas Veney, the Touchdown Dance Challenge winner from EA Play

  • Updated formula for defenders’ ability to play the ball in the air

  • Followed new NFL Rules Point of Emphasis – Dives by the ball carrier will be considered as giving himself up on the play, and will be ruled the same as QB slides

  • Franchise:

  • Added new To Do items for Weekly and Yearly Awards, Pro Bowl, and Upgrading Players

  • Added new filter options to the Roster and Draft Recap menus, so you can see the best players in the league at a glance

  • Change Log:

  • Made general stability improvements

The new September update also brings a ton of updates to the Franchise mode including,

  • Added ability to offer contracts with a salary up to $30 million per year
  • Fixed issue where winning the Super Bowl would award extremely high XP if the XP sliders were adjusted
  • Updated visuals on Team Salaries menu
  • Improved stability when using “slow” super sim
  • Fixed issue where backup offensive linemen were making the Pro Bowl

Madden 19 generally received favorable reviews from critics and gamers. Right now on Metacritic, Madden NFL 19 PS 4 has a score of 80/100, Xbox one version got a score of 81/100, and the PC version has a score of 80/100. Madden NFL 19 got a new feature called “real player motions.” With this feature, players are able to push blockers so they can gain more yards while running and this makes the game more realistic.
