Mega Man 11 is an upcoming action-platformer set in the world of Mega Man. The game is going to bring back everything that is good about older Mega Man games to 2018. Mega Man 11 attempts to make the series a success once again and take it back to its roots.
Mega Man 11 Gameplay and Game Modes
Mega Man 11 is going to retain the classic gameplay style of Mega Man games. Mega Man 11 is going to feature a 2.5D graphics style but 3D characters set in a 2D environment. The player is going to follow Mega Man in his journey to stop p Dr. Wily from using a Double Gear system which Dr. Light created thanks to years of research. Gamers are able to play in 8 different linear stages, and you can choose which stage you want to play first. Mega Man is able to perform the classic Mega Man moves such as Mega Buster, and receive new weapons by beating bosses at the end of each level. Mega Man 11 is the first Mega Man game that uses the Double Gear system. The Double Gear system gives players two extra abilities to use, the Speed Gear and Power Gear.
The game gets many different game-modes such as Time Trials, Global Leaderboards, and Missions. Mega Man 11 brings back difficulty settings to the infamous series. The four difficulty levels are Newcomer, Casual, Normal, and Superhero.
Mega Man 11 Release Date, Platforms
Mega Man 11 is going to be released for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 2, 2018 and October 4ths in Japan. The Nintendo Switch version of the game is also going to feature amiibo support., which gamers are able to use to unlock special in-game items.
