FIFA 18 tops UK sale charts followed by GTA V, COD WW2…

FIFA 18 has been doing pretty well in the UK

In the UK people take their soccer or as they call it football very seriously. FIFA 18 has been dominating the UK sale charts since EA released it back in 2017. FIFA 18 is the most popular soccer title available right now. Anyone that wants to play soccer on their PC or game console would probably buy FIFA 18. It makes sense for FIFA 18 to sell so well considering that it is available on the Xbox One, PS 4, PC, PS 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Switch and in the UK soccer is very popular. On the Nintendo Switch, PS 3, and Xbox 360 FIFA 18 doesn’t have the same engine as the other versions of the game so it has lower graphics and some features are missing so FIFA 18 probably sold better on the PC, Xbox One, and PS 4. Last month FIFA 18 was at the #1 spot in UK physical game sales. 

At the #2 spot is Grand Theft Auto V. GTA V is at the top 10 best selling games every month and that is a big achievement for Rockstar considering that GTA V was released all the way back in 2013. Rockstar is releasing new content for GTA Online every few weeks sometimes they add new vehicles and sometimes Rockstar adds a new game mode to GTA Online. At the #3 spot was Call of Duty: WWII. COD WW II isn’t the most popular COD game and it has many problems but it is still doing very well in the UK. At the #4 spot is Nintendo’s Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Although Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is basically the same as Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U but it is still doing very well. Nintendo did very well last month with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at the #4 spot, Super Mario Odyssey at #6 spot, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at #9. Remember these are the UK physical game sales.
