Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is a gen ahead of consoles
Final Fantasy XV’s director says that the PC version of the game is a gen ahead of the consoles
When Final Fantasy XV was released on the PS 4 and Xbox One back in 2016 fans of the series on the PC were disappointed because they didn’t get it. A situation like this has happened before like when Rockstar released Grand Theft Auto V for the Xbox 360 and PS 3 and then released it on the PC with the Xbox One and PS 4. GTA V on the PC wasn’t a port from the Xbox 360 and PS 3 it was a generation ahead and it was built from the ground up for the PC. According to the game’s director PC gamer’s wait is going to be worth it because the game is a generation ahead of the Xbox One and PS 4.
In a message for the community Final Fantasy XV director, Hajime Tabata talked about Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition. Tabata talked said that gamers that pre-order the game on Steam will get the “Fashion Collection” which includes a T-Shirt set for Noctis. Tabata also said that they are making an early purchase bonus but he can’t tell us what it is yet. Tabata says that the early purchase bonus is very exciting and gamers should look forward to it. Tabata also talked about the Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition benchmark app that was released recently. The most interesting part is the fact that Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition was build ground up for the PC and it’s not just a console port. Tabata said that Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition “has advanced a generation.”
