Fortnite cross-play available this is how to play with other platforms 

PC, Xbox One, IOS, and PS 4 users can play Fortnite with each other 

Fortnite has been massively successful especially on the PS 4 because it’s a free to play and it’s the only battle royal game on PS 4 since PUBG isn’t available on the PS 4. Many companies especially Microsoft have been pushing for cross-platform so all gamers can play their games with their friends regardless of the platform that they play with. Since Epic games released Fortnite update 3.3 gamers have been able to play with their friends even if their friends play on IOS, Xbox One, PC, or PS 4 for the most part. If you play on the Xbox One you wouldn’t be able to play Fortnite with your friends on the PS 4. 

If you are playing on the Xbox One or PS 4 and want to play with a friend on the IOS or PC you will have to go to Epic Game’s website and login with your Xbox or PSN account. By doing this you will get an Epic game account tied to your account on your console. If you want to add a PC or IOS Fortnite friend you will have to download the Epic game launcher and add them from that. On the PC and IOS you can add your Xbox One or PS 4 friends from the Epic Games launcher or for IOS users from the game. Your console friends will have to sign-in Epic Game’s website so you can add them as a friend. After you add them as a friend you can launch a game and add them to your party.

Fortnite is one of the most popular free to play games and battle royal games. Because of the fact that Fortnite Battle Royal is free it’s doing very well. Right now pretty much every gamer has played Fortnite and most of those gamers like the game a lot.
