A while ago Fortnite was the most popular battle royal game on the internet with millions and millions of players playing it every single day. When EA announced Apex Legends it took the gaming world by storm hitting 10 million players in only 3 days. The game took over Twitch and YouTube from Fortnite which is why Epic Games has been working hard to get players to return to the game. Well, if you’re into Fortnite you have probably heard about season 8 and how earthquakes have been occurring all around the Fortnite map. According to the latest rumors, Fortnite season 8 is going to feature underwater locations.

If you go and check the Epic Game Store right before season 7 came out, you’ll notice that one of the skins and one of the pickaxes are related to airplanes. The skin called “Sky Stalker,” a character wearing something that looks like a pilots outfit from back in the day and binoculars on his belt. On that day we also got the “Propeller Axe” which is literally an airplane propeller attached to a pickaxe. If you play Fortnite you know that on season 7, we got airplanes added to the game which could be used to travel across the map and fight other players. Well, now Fortnite has added skins and pickaxes to the store which are both related to the ocean.

On the second of February, the Deep Seas Destroyer and Deep Sea Dominator skins were added to the game. Both of these skins are people wearing old diving suits the kind you’d see in movies but, one is a female and the other is a male. That’s not all, we have also got a glider and a pickaxe that are related to the ocean. We got the Nautilus glider, a bug looking vehicle that is most likely supposed to be a submarine as the description reads “Dive! Dive! Dive!” and the Krakenaxe, a pickaxe that seems to have a small Kraken stuck to it. Now, if Fortnite is doing the same thing they did with season 7 with season 8, then we should expect to see some underwater locations added to the game.
