Microsoft has released more Xbox One backward compatible games and new Xbox 360 games enhanced for Xbox One X 

The PS 4 and Nintendo Switch have many features that the Xbox One doesn’t have but the Xbox One has something that the other consoles can’t compete with. The PS 4 does have a few titles from the PS 3 but the Xbox One has hundreds of games that are from the Xbox 360 and original Xbox. Since Microsoft released the Xbox One X in 2017 they have been releasing updates that enhance the game’s graphics and/or frame rate and they have been doing the same thing with backward compatible games. With the Xbox One X enhancement update, you can choose to improve your game’s graphics or play at the original form.

Microsoft has released an Xbox One X enhancement update for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, Crackdown, Fable Anniversary, Forza Horizon. Xbox 360 games that Microsoft enhances for the Xbox One X play at a better resolution and 9 times the original pixel count on Xbox One X. Microsoft has already enhanced seven Xbox 360 games for the Xbox One X Assassin’s Creed, Fallout 3, Gears of War 3, Halo 3, Mirror’s Edge, Oblivion, and Skate 3. In enhanced graphics, the game will have better resolution, 9 times the pixel count, better texture details, and better antialiasing. The enhanced graphics mode is automatically enabled when you open and enhanced Xbox 360 game on the Xbox One X. If you turn off the enhanced graphics mode the game will look like the game running on the Xbox One and Xbox One S. To change the graphics mode press the menu and view button while in an Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One. In the Xbox 360 guide go to settings and select Xbox One X settings. In that menu, you can choose to play the game with enhanced graphics or normally. According to Microsoft games have played 840 million hours of Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One.
