How to get Invited to buy Xbox Series X/ Halo Infinite Edition from Microsoft 

Microsoft is sending out invitations for buying the Series X

Both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X have been extremely hard to find due to several issues from COVID to the global chip shortage and of course, scalpers. If you have not been able to pick up yourself an Xbox Series X from GameStop this Thursday I have good news for you since right now Microsoft is sending out invite links to those who have certain settings turned on in their Xbox account to purchase the Series X! 

It is not exactly clear how these links work and how many people get them so as soon as you receive the invite link you need to go to Microsoft’s website and purchase a Series X ASAP. Although Microsoft only sends select people the link to buy a Series X, stocks are still limited and if you try to buy it after like an hour it would definitely be out of stock so it’s important to buy it as soon as you can the link in your email. 

Sign up for Invitation

Right now it’s pretty easy to sign up to be invited. First, what you have to do is head over to xbox.com and sign in with your Xbox account. After you do this, click on your profile picture and choose Xbox profile from the drop down menu. 
Once you do this click on “Privacy Settings” from the Xbox Profile screen. When you click that button it may make you sign in again so do that and once in the settings page click on “Contact Preferences” from the little menu in the left side of your screen.

Once you get in the contact preferences page, all you have to do is turn on the “Xbox Newsletter/Marketing” option and maybe the “Partner Marketing” option.

If you follow all of these steps, you may get invited by Microsoft to buy the Series X. If you’re selected, Microsoft will send you an email and they will give you a link which you should check out ASAP to not risk the console going out of stock.
