Since AMD released their latest generation of 7nm CPUs, Intel has been having a hard time keeping its throne as the CPU king. AMD has been slowly taking market share from Intel as AMD CPUs are better in almost every way. They offer more cores and threads, they perform better in most scenarios, and they cost about the same. AMD has even begun taking Intel’s market share in the mobile laptop market thanks to an outstanding performance by Vega 11. Well, According to the latest leaked benchmark it seems like Intel is making a massive comeback to the mobile market as their 11th-Gen CPUs have been shown to have the ability to outperform AMD’s Vega 11 graphics.

Intel Tiger Lake Xe Graphics Benchmarked Leaked Outperforms Intel Ryzen 9 4900HS

Thanks to the guys over at Wccftech, we have gotten our hands on leaked benchmarks for the Intel tiger Lake Xe, Intel’s upcoming 11th-Gen CPU. As you can see in the benchbarks below, Intel’s upcoming CPU was able to outperform AMD’s most powerful APU by about 10%! This is very good news for Intel as it means that they will finally have a lead over AMD. What you have to pay attention to is the fact that this is a 15-28W low power chip being compared to a 35W high-performance chip. That is why it doesn’t perform nearly as well in terms of CPU power.

What Does This Mean for Intel’s Future?

These performance numbers mean that unless AMD steps up their game, they will have a hard time competing with Intel in the mobile market when the next-generation of Intel CPUs are released. This is obviously very good news for investors because it means the Intel is going to be able to hold their market share in the mobile market and this combined with how good they are doing in other market areas, means that Intel is going to have a strong quarter.
