Leaks: 7nm Next-Gen AMD Navi GPUs to Crush Nvidia RTX
If the Latest Rumors are True, Nvidia Can’t Compete with AMD Navi

Right now, AMD’s stock prices have gone down to $17.82 because of Nvidia RTX and Intel’s latest CPUs. Intel has a big advantage over AMD in the gaming market thanks to Intel’s superior single core performance. AMD hasn’t been doing too hot in the GPU market either as Vega is somewhat overpriced and it doesn’t perform that well. AMD’s most powerful GPUs don’t even compare to RTX in terms of performance so Nvidia has a monopoly over the majority of the gaming market.
AMD Navi Latest Rumors
AMD is rumored to announce their lower-end AMD Navi GPU series, Navi 12 and Navi 10 at CES 2019. The RX 3060 and RX 3070 are rumored to be based on the Navi 12 architecture and the RX 3080 is said to be based on the Navi 10 architecture. Navi 12 and Navi 10 are rumored to target the mid-range and low-end gaming market in terms of price but, don’t let that disappoint you.
The AMD RX 3080 is rumored to feature 8GB of VRAM and it is supposedly going to cost you $249.99. The best part is the fact that the RX 3080 is going to perform 15% better than Vega 64. When you do the math, this $250 GPU is going to perform similarly to the $500 RTX 2070, even a little better in some games. The RX 3060 is going to cost $129.99 and it will perform like the RX 580. The RX 3070 is going to perform like Vega 56 and it’ll cost you $200.
AMD Navi is Going to Crush Nvidia RTX
If these rumors are true, AMD Navi GPUs are easily going to crush Nvidia RTX. The RX 3080 is going to cost $249.99 but, it is rumored to perform like the RTX 2070. Nvidia can’t compete with AMD Navi’s low prices. Nvidia is going to have to bring their prices down by hundreds of Dollars to compete with Navi. AMD will also capture the low-end gaming market thanks to the RX 3060. It’s going to cost you $129.99 and it is going to perform like the RX 580 or the GTX 1060 6GB, a $250 GPU.
Nvidia is going to lose millions and millions of Dollars if they want to compete with Navi. They will have to bring their prices down which will cause them to lose a lot of $$$. Nvidia has spent about a billion dollars on ray tracing so, they have to charge a lot of money for RTX GPUs. A price reduction is most likely not going to happen so, Nvidia can’t really do anything. Nvidia is going to lose money no matter what they do.
