Microgaming Outsourcing Their Slot Game Development
Microgaming are a huge casino game design company who also are experts at designing the gaming platforms that all of their games are available upon, including both online casino platforms and mobile casino apps, too.
They have a huge team of game designers based over on the Isle of Man and have been in business since 1994, in fact they recently moved to a brand new purpose built building, which shows just how far they have come in the twenty years plus they have been around and in business.
However, you will not need me to tell you if you are an avid fan of playing any type of casino games, it is always going to be the design of each game that is either going to draw you into playing them or conversely will see you giving them a very wide berth.
Sadly one thing that many players have noticed over the years, especially with the range of Microgaming in-house designed slot games is that they are simply cloned copies of some of their earlier slots.
Whilst its true to say that many land based slot game designers will always tend to launch a series of slots which have proven to be popular with players, and Aristocrat’s Buffalo series of slot spring to mind, Microgaming have often chosen to just change the theme and reel symbols on some of their newly launched slots and kept the payouts and bonus games the same as on some of their early slots those new slots are cloned copies of.
That has led to many players becoming increasing tired and bored of playing many of their slots, for players are always demand something completely different from the slot games they do choose to get stuck into playing, and can very easily spot a slot which is a cloned copy of an early launched slot game.
Things are however changing for the better at Microgaming, for they have now started to outsource some of their slot game design and development, whist they do have their own slot game designers, they are now adding more and more of other designers and developers slots to their ever growing range.
They have recently added games from companies such as Slingshot Studios, in fact one of their slots that being the Zombie Hoard slot went live on Microgaming multi-channel gaming platforms on the 6th of March this year.
In fact, another slot that launched on the same day, just in time for the Cheltenham Festival, one of the most attended horse race meetings in the UK was the Bookie of Odds slot, which was developed by Triple Edge Studios and is reviewed over on the luckyslots.nz website.
Back in February they also added the Crazy Tooth Studio designed Arctic Valour slot to their ever growing range of video slots, which is proof as is proof is needed that despite their many years of experience in designing slot games or every possible description, there will always come a time when even team of time served and vastly experienced slot game design companies will have to look elsewhere for inspiration.
