Things Aren’t Looking Good for Intel

Since AMD came out with its latest Ryzen series CPUs Intel has had a really hard time maintaining its CPU market share in the desktop market. Although before Intel was able to beat AMD by a landslide in gaming benchmarks, what we see now is that the latest AMD CPUs are able to deliver about the same performance as Intel in gaming, much better performance in desktop applications, and all of this is for the same or even a lower price! Overall, AMD has beat Intel across the board and according to the latest leaks, they are going to battle Intel for market share in the laptop market with next-gen AMD Ryzen 4000 Laptop CPUs.

Leaked AMD Ryzen 4000 Benchmarks

Thanks to the Twitter account Tum Apisak, we have gotten our hands on another leaked benchmark for AMD’s next-gen Ryzen laptop CPU through Time Spy. According to the leak, AMD’s next-gen Ryzen 7 4800HS was able to overtake the Intel Core i7-9700K in Time Spy. This is very good news for AMD because their mobile CPU running on 35 W of power was able to beat the Intel Core i7-9700K (A Desktop CPU) which uses 60 watts more power.

Intel Can’t Compte

Ladies and gentlemen what you got to understand is that not only did the Ryzen 4800 HS destroy a powerful desktop-level Intel CPU but, it did it on alpha drivers. This means that by the time this CPU is finally released to the masses, it is going to be more powerful and power-efficient then what we see right now. Even if it isn’t that much more powerful when it is released, Intel still wouldn’t be able to compete. AMD is coming at Intel in all parts of the market from the server market to the desktop and laptop market. If the current trend continues, AMD is going to dominate the CPU market in the coming years.
