New Fortnite patch adds Xbox One X support and more

Fortnite is one of the most popular games this year. Fortnite has been through some controversy with PUBG’s developer Bluehole, but after it got through that, it was surrounded by a lot of hype. The fact that it’s a free to play game and it is available on the PC, Xbox One, and PS 4 gives it a huge advantage over PUBG. PUBG costs $29.99, and it will probably not be released on the PS 4 for a long time. This week has been pretty big for Fortnite because Epic games did reveal Fortnite V3 and Fortnite is getting a pretty good update. Fortnite V3 will crack down on Team Killing, better friend system, new shooting model, new inventory, map update, post-match stats, and more. The new patch is going to add Xbox One X support to Fortnite, new smoke grenade, new leaderboards, new weapons, new weather, bug fixes, UI fixes, gameplay fixes, performance fixes, fixed world bugs, and much more.

The new smoke grenade is going to be released for the Battleroyal mode. 2 new leaderboards are going to be added with this patch. The two leaderboards are the global wins leaderboard and the Score Leaderboard. The global wins leaderboard shows the top 50 players for a selected match type, and it’s measured by wins. The Score Leaderboard is measured by the XP that players earn. Three meles and six guns. The three mele guns are a sword, a hammer, and an ax. The guns are a sniper, a pistol with a scope on it, a gun that looks like an automatic rifle with a scope, a shotgun, a pistol that seems like it’s a shotgun, and an automatic pistol. Mutant storms are back, and the nine new weapons will be available until mutant storms are gone. One of the gameplay changes are more loot in the duos and squad playlist. In Duo Playlist, medium ammo stack goes from 10 to 14, and in the Squad Playlist, medium ammo stack will go from 10 to 18.
