New Sea of Thieves update out matchmaking issues improved
The new Sea of Thieves update fixes many issues
Rare recently released Sea of Thieves for the Xbox One and PC but the game hasn’t been received well by the community. Many reviewers say Sea of Thieves doesn’t have enough content to keep players hooked for a long time and the game has been facing various issues. One of the biggest issues was that players couldn’t get into a game in the weekend and it has performance issues on the Xbox One X. In a blog post Rare wrote about a new update that is coming to Sea of Thieves and the new update is going to bring a new game client as well as fix many bugs.
Rare wrote, “We are also releasing a new game client to all players on Tuesday March 27th which contains a wide array of fixes across our services, stability and game experience. This is a full game update as opposed to just a patch.” The update is now available for download. Rare said if they wanted to release a smaller client update they would’ve had to delay the new update for a few days.
Rare also listed issues that are affecting players. Player rewards being delayed is not a very big issue but it is important Rare said that they are working on this issue and the new client update make some improvements. Rare says that don’t quit and restart the game to fix this issue you will eventually receive the cash. As expected Rare also addressed the player joining issue at peak times. Rare says that they are on top of this problem but it is not fixed yet. Rare will stop new players from joining games if they see issues. Rare advises gamers to join a crew already in-game if being faced with this issue. Sea of Thieves performance issues on the Xbox One X should be fixed with the new update.
