Next-Gen AMD CPU Leaked! AMD To Take Over the Gaming CPU Market | Sell Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) and Buy AMD?

AMD Ryzen 3 Leaked

AMD Ryzen 3

AMD has been really struggling in recent times with the gaming market. AMD CPUs virtually outperform competing Intel in all instances, Intel is still able to outperform AMD in gaming. Intel’s higher boost clocks make it perform better in games as videogames have not yet started to utilize AMD’s higher core counts. This allows Intel to easily control the gaming market. Well, if AMD is able to capture the gaming market Intel would basically lose its advantage all throughout the PC consumer market and this might happen as according to the latest rumors, AMD is going to release low-end quad-core Zen 2 CPUs soon.

AMD Ryzen 3 3300X And Ryzen 3 3100 Leaked

Thanks to Twitter user Momomo_US we have gotten our hands on new leaks for the AMD 3rd-Gen Ryzen 3 CPUs. AMD has released its high-end CPUs and mid-range CPUs with the 3rd-gen architecture but, we have not gotten our hands on the low-end 3rd-gen CPUs yet but, it is rumored that the 3rd-gen low-end CPUs will be released soon!

According to the latest leaks, the AMD Ryzen 3 3300X will feature 4 cores and 8 threads with a boost clock of 4.3 GHz. That’s not all, the Ryzen 3 3300X is also going to feature 18 MB of cache as well as a TDP of 65W. This means that this CPU is going to feature good overclocking capabilities which means that we may be able to get 4.5GHz+ out of the Ryzen 3 3300X. It is rumored that the AMD Ryzen 3300X could cost around $120 which means that it will be a real bang for the buck. Next, the lower-end Ryzen 3 3100 is going to feature 4 cores and 8 threads as well but with a 3.9 GHz boost clock. It will also feature an 18mb cache and it is expected to cost around $100.

AMD to Take Ove the Gaming CPU Market

Most gamers end up building a PC that costs around $800 or so and with a budget like this, the best option is a CPU that costs around $150 which means that AMD may be able to take over the gaming market with their 3rd-gen low-end CPUs. Thanks to the high frequency featured by the AMD Ryzen 3 3rd-gen, it’s the perfect CPU for gaming. Right now AMD doesn’t much market share in the $150 CPU range but, when the 3rd-gen low-end CPUs are released AMD will be able to take over the gaming market.
