Next-Gen AMD Ryzen Are Once Again Going to Fail in the Gaming Market | How is AMD Going to Grow in the PC Market? (Latest Leaks and Rumors)

What is AMD Going to do About the Gaming Market?

AMD Rtzeb

AMD’s latest CPU and GPU series have both had a fair amount of success throughout the CPU and GPU market but, AMD has been having a really hard time competing with their competition in the gaming market mostly in the CPU gaming market. AMD CPUs offer better all-around performance than their competing Intel CPUs but, Intel has still been beating AMD in the gaming market and NVIDIA has been beating AMD Navi. Well, according to the latest rumors AMD is going to have the same issue with their next-gen hardware so, we have to ask how they are going to capture more market share in the gaming market.

Next-Gen AMD Ryzen Low Single-Core Performance Benchmark Leaked

The next-gen AMD Ryzen 4000 CPUs are highly anticipated amongst the PC market but, according to the latest leaks around the market we see that these CPUs may not compete that well in the gaming market. The AMD CPU leaked on User Benchmark went under as “‘PD340SC5M4MFH_37/34_Y,” and by directing the codename we see that the CPU features 4 Cores, 8 Threads, and 4 MB of L3 cache along with 2 MB of L2 cache. Also, the CPU is shown to feature a base clock of 3.4 GHz and a boost clock of 3.7 GHz.

Now, the issue with this leaked benchmark is the fact that the base clock of the CPU is only 3.4 GHz. The boost clock is definitely going to go up over time as it gets more optimized but, this is still a troubling sign. It shows us that once again, the AMD Ryzen 4000 CPUs are not going to feature high boost clocks and this means that it will feature weak single-core performance. If you didn’t know, the single-core performance of a CPU has a lot of effect on the gaming performance and if AMD’s next-gen Ryzen 4000 CPUs have low single-core performance they are not going to be able to compete with Intel in the gaming market. Unless we see a drastic improvement, AMD is once again going to fail and become the second-tier CPU in the gaming market.
