Nintendo Switch Toast Wood cover review. The perfect wooden cover?
Is the Toast Wood cover the best Wood style Nintendo Switch cover?

If you like Nintendo, there is a good chance that you bought a Nintendo Switch as soon as became one of the most trending gaming machines in the world. Unlike Nintendo’s other consoles you can play the Switch on your TV or take it on the go and play where ever you want. If you take your Switch out, you probably have a case, but a lot of the time a case doesn’t look very good. Not all nintendo cases are well designed and well crafted.
So If you want your Nintendo Switch to look stylish specifically with luxury wood patterns but don’t want your console to be bulky you should look into Toast’s Nintendo Switch covers. We reviewed the Nintendo Switch Toast Wood cover and this should help you choose if you want to buy a Switch cover. But as always it comes to your mind when you see something beautiful and stylish, does it come with its own flaws or this one is going to be the perfect one? Read the review so you could get some idea about the pros and cons of the Wood cover made for Nintendo Switch by Toast.
For this review we have got the case in the Walnut color. When you get the cover for the Switch you will get two cover parts for the Switch itself, you will get six cover parts for the dock, one for the Joy Con grip, and two for the Joy Cons. It’s pretty easy to align the covers. The glue is very strong it does not seem to come off easily, unless you heat it up with a hairdryer.
The covers align very well thanks to the sharp and clean design, and look good especially considering that the cover costs only $59.99. It feels like real wood and it doesn’t make the Switch too bulky. Wood covers for power and volume buttons are provided so it’s easy to reach those buttons when the cover is on the Switch.
The kickstand, speakers, headphone jack, game slot, and power button are not covered. You can also put costume text on your cover for only $5. Honestly, the cover has a lot more pros than cons, but there are some issues to point out so here it comes.
Also, don’t worry when trying to apply the case on your Nintendo Switch as if you break a piece Toast will give you “a free do-over” but you will have to cover the shipping cost and you have to send some photographic evidence of the problem by mail.

The biggest issue is the fact that it makes it very hard to put the Switch in its dock and take it out. The cover makes the Switch a bit thicker so it’s hard to take it in or out the dock and it may sometimes become annoying. The last problem is that the Joy Con covers don’t perfectly fit around the Joy Con buttons so the Joy Con’s color is still visible while the cover is on the switch.
After all it looks beautiful, sharp and has a taste of luxury. Nicely designed and fit but could do better on the Joy Con buttons. You can get and try one at $59.99 and it is available in Toast website.
