Nvidia 1180 gaming GPU May be around the corner

Nvidia CEO says  “a long time” in graphics cards time to be expecting for the next high end geforce? A year, a month, a week?

Nvidia CEO, Jen-Hsun Huang, says the next generation of GeForce GPUs won’t appear until “a long time from now” many are calling it “vague enough to be almost meaningless.” Of course whole lot of Pascal-based GPUs in the channel and they’re still selling and Jen-Hsun wants you to keep buying today’s GPUs and here are the best Nvidia graphics cards right now.

If the mining drama would keep inflating graphics card prices all the way through to the third quarter of this year. Nvidia just kept releasing the same graphics and delayed introducing a new one. But now the mining trend is different. Nvidia kept the prices high, the cards high prices made the profitability very hard and now there are a lot of used graphics in the market and Nvidia and AMD had to bring down the price to the MSRP.

After a while the users wont get a new one cause they are waiting for a stronger GPU. He actually is trying to make that hope go away and make them buy now and dont wait for the next GPU line with a lot more power leaked in the news. So Nvidia could sell as much as they can before revealing the GPU line.

When Jen-Hsun says the GTX 1180, or GTX 2080, or V80 GTX, or … is going to be “a long time from now” that could be nothing but an attempt to sell all the current orders they have made based on their speculation of mining market. And if more people stop buying the pascal gpus and wait for the next gen, it will come even sooner so the Nvidia machine keeps selling.
